Buttered Radishes, Red Pepper, and Kale


Do you only eat radishes now and then in a salad? We used to, but have found them ever so much more pleasant when cooked in a skillet with butter.

I put the following ingredients into a skillet over medium heat:

1 TBSP coconut oil

1 TBSP grass fed butter

8 radishes, cut into fourths

1 red pepper, diced

8-10 large kale leaves, torn into bite-sized pieces

1/4 tsp smoked paprika

1/4 tsp basil (or fresh basil leaves)

smoked sea salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste

1 TBSP water

I cooked this about 20 minutes, until tender.

See if you like radishes better like this.
