Crock Pot Round Steak and Quinoa

I put 2 tsp of coconut oil into the bottom of my crock pot and rubbed it around.
I added:

2-3 lbs grass fed round steak, or doe (tonight I’m doing half venison, half grass fed round steak from Tropical Traditions
1 small sweet onion, diced
3 peppers, diced (any colors are fine; I used green, red, yellow)
1 can coconut milk
1 cup beef bone broth
1 tsp cherry wood smoked sea salt (salttraders.com)
1/4 tsp turmeric
freshly ground black pepper, to taste
1/4 tsp thyme
1 TBSP Garlic Gold Nuggets (or a little fresh garlic minced)
1 cup organic quinoa

I set the crock pot for 8 hours on low.

Can you see yourself prepping this crock pot one night? Then you just take it out of the fridge and plug in the crock pot the next morning and go to work. Add a couple of fast and easy side dishes if you want, and you are good to go, full of protein and building strength!
