Hot Buttered Bone Broth

IMG_1332

I preach about the importance of bone broth all the time. I encourage people to make it, to buy it, and to cook with it. When you have time, making it yourself is a great use of your time – it’s going to support your health and strength.

Here’s my recipe for that: Grass Fed Bone Broth and Soup

But that’s time-consuming. Thank goodness you can buy it, too. I keep Pacific Bone Broth in the house all the time.

Ger can drink it right out of the container but some people can’t so I developed this easy way to up the delicious-factor.

I poured an 8 oz container of bone broth into a small pan and warmed it on the stove. (If you are a microwave-user, you could warm yours there…)

I poured the warmed bone broth into a coffee cup and added:

1 tsp grass fed butter

1/4 tsp turmeric

1/4 tsp smoked sea salt

freshly ground black pepper, to taste

Ger is strong and he gets a chance to prove it today. The San Fransisco Fire plays their first match on npgl.com. Here’s a photo from Everett at Paleo Fat Kid.
